What’s New At 62?

Hello Ms. Clarke!
The technology team is happy to welcome Ms. Clarke to PS 62. Ms. Clarke brings great experience and knowledge to our team. PS 62 now has three technology teachers! We can’t wait to work together to integrate the school curriculum with technology.
Goodbye Obsolete Equipment
All the outdated equipment in the building was removed for free at the end of August through a program called Clean Sweep. The program left us lots of space for new equipment.
Speaking of New Equipment… 
Councilman Joseph P. Addaboo Jr awarded PS 62 with a large sum of money to spend on informational technology. With these funds we were able to supply each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms with a mini labs. Thanks so much Councilman Addabbo!!!
Other exciting news…
- Mysuite is in its second year and we are excited to introduce the Learning Environment with a whole new group of teachers and students.
- 4th and 5th grade classes are participating in ThinkQuest this year
- the school has hired a CUNY Intern to come to the building a three days a week to trouble shoot software and hardware problems around the school.

I agree with you Kimranjit. I think that we should have swings and a pool. I think we should also have slides. We should even add more stuff in our playground.

HI!!!!! I AM IN MS.CUTRONE’S CLASS. I TAKE PART OF DESIGNING THE NEW PLAYGROUND!!!!!!! LET ME ANSWER YOUR QUESTION. NO, WE CANNOT HAVE A POOL BECAUSE IN THE WINTER THE POOL WILL FREZZE!!!!!!! BUT WE CAN HAVE SWINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would like the mew playground to fittness equitment, play equitment for older and younger kids, a track, monkey bars and a multipurpose field.

hi umm i am in student council we cannot have a pool or swings i sorry wat if we get hurt or something we only have 725,000 dollers so we cant get a pool

hi i am part of designing the play groud too i am in student council and we cant have a soda machine out side cause there is no out let. and hopefuly we will get a tennis cort cause ms frizzel teaches it so we might use it thanks and it u have any qustions feel free to ask thanks
